Product Details:

Ships in 5" pot  8-10 inches tall.

Cordyline australis 'Red Sensation'- Similar to ‘Red Star’ but with larger leaves and more purple coloring in the foliage. This subtropical, palm-like tree is exceptional and gives a nice tropical look to any setting. With its long bronzy red foliage, ‘Red Sensation’ makes a nice contrast in mixed color plantings in the landscape or in containers. Like other Cordyline australis cultivars, ‘Red Sensation’ matures at about 10 to 12 feet in height. Produces large clusters of small, sweet-scented, white flowers in mid summer to early fall. Grows best and thrives in full sun to partial shade.

Growing Zone:

7 and higher. "Hardiness" is the capability of a plant to survive cold temperatures. In order to provide a system for identifying the extent of cold temperatures in a particular location, the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) has issued a map that divides North America into eleven Hardiness Zones.
