Hibiscus are great plants for tropical blooms and foliage. They can be grown year-round in the northern U.S. and Canada - noting greenhouses. Although you can't expect the same lush growth and bloom numbers while your plants are over-wintering inside under less-than-tropical conditions, they will be ready to reward you once placed outside when warm weather arrives.
