Passiflora caerulea 'Blue Passion Flower'- Native to southern Brazil and Argentina, this vigorous grower puts on a fantastic show in any garden setting. The bluish-violet and white flowers are about 2 to 4 inches in diameter and appear from summer through fall. The flowers are popular with gardeners because of their intricate shape and slight minty fragrance. ‘Blue Passion Flower’ also produces egg-shaped edible orange fruits that can be eaten out-of-hand. The fruit is also used to make drinks. This semi-evergreen is extremely fast growing maturing at about 30 to 35 feet in height. Grows and thrives in full sun.
