Product Details:

Ships bare rooted. 8-12 inches in height.

Succulent that produces masses of pink flowers. Long thorny stem with large pale green leaves. This is the only cactus with true leaves.

Growing Zone:

9 and higher. "Hardiness" is the capability of a plant to survive cold temperatures. In order to provide a system for identifying the extent of cold temperatures in a particular location, the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) has issued a map that divides North America into eleven Hardiness Zones.

The rose cactus is blooming with no effort on my part.

Pros Even though the plant had a broken stem when it arrived, it began blooming right away. Now in early april, new buds have set on and the plant is blooming again.
