Tillandsias are not usually grown for their flowers, but it is quite common for some species to take on a different leaf colour (usually changing from green to red) when ready to flower. It comes planted in a animal planter that hangs from your garden pots.

Pros I like these plants because all you have to do is spray them with water every now and then. I have a couple on my kitchen window sill and they bring character and conversation!
Comments The ease of growth with these plants is what is so attractive to me. I enjoy the decorative pots. You do not need a green thumb to grow these. The flowers are pretty as well!

Pros It made my girlfriend so happy
Comments I bought one of each of these for my girlfriend, and she just loves them! She placed the green frog on a clay pot where we have a ficus planted and her friend screamed when she saw it, then she settled down when she realized it was not real.
