Tillandsia tenuifolia -Native to Cuba and Brazil, this epiphyte stays small growing only to about 6 inches in height. The leaves are relatively straight and look a lot like pine needles. Striking blue flowers with pink bracts are borne on a rather short bloom stem. Tillandsia tenuifolia blooms from late spring to early winter and the flowers last for several weeks. Mist well about once a week.
