Ships bare rooted. 10-15 inches in height.

Phyllostachys nigra Black Bamoo- Culms emerge a dark green and then turn to jet black after the first 6 months to one year. Black Bamboo is popular because of its graceful habit and the sharp accent of its culms color. It is highly desirable as an ornamental. Grows to 30 feet or so, but can be controlled to groy any height in containers and confined spaces. Black Bamboo does great in pots, atriums, or outside in rock gardens. It can also grow indoors. A must have bamboo. Has been our best bamboo seller.

Growing Zone:
