Item No. 92441

Our Price: $14.95

Scientific Name:

Sansevieria

Product Details:

Ships bare rooted. 5-12 inches in height.

All are easy-to-grow, double-duty (indoors or outdoors), exotic-looking plants that thrive on neglect. Sansevierias can be used with equal effectiveness as an accent plant or in mass in planters or beds. If there was ever a bulletproof plant, this is it. Can be grown in high light, deep shade, and everywhere in between. Tolerates low humidity. Tolerates low water and low feeding. Tolerates being root bound. Few if any plants are as foolproof to grow. Sansevieria Black Robusta- A much wider version of Black Coral that has gray-green, wavy lines over a dark green (almost black) background. A great new addition.

Growing Zone:

10 and higher. "Hardiness" is the capability of a plant to survive cold temperatures. In order to provide a system for identifying the extent of cold temperatures in a particular location, the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) has issued a map that divides North America into eleven Hardiness Zones.

Help me find my growing zone!

Growing In Containers:

Makes a great container plant, but the container must have good drainage.

Growing Indoors:

Watering them only once or twice is necessary indoors during the winter, depending on the humidity.

Growing Outdoors:

These plants will grow outdoors. Frost tolerance: Hardy to 28F (-2C) for very short periods.
