Scadoxus multiflorus Blood Lily- A perennial bulb with oblong-spiraled leaves. Leaves grow to 12 inches long and have red stippling on their bases. Flowers in summer with up to 200 small, red flowers on one inflorescence. Can be used in containers or in beds. Flowers can be cut for arrangements. Plant in partial shade to bright light. Great container plant or can be greenhoused. Bulbs can be dug and stored over winter. Zones 10 and higher.
