Bambusa multiplex riviereorum Chinese Goddess Bamboo- Each node bears a large number of branches at the culms base, making a dense hedge. This plant is very popular for hedge plantings. Chinese Goddess is drought tolerant once it is established. This is a small-sized clumper that is noninvasive. The solid culms and tiny leaves are similar to Fernleaf, but smaller and more delicate. Chinese Goddess is a favorite garden bamboo that also does well as a potted plant. This plant is more shade tolerant than most bamboos.
