Cornukaempferia aurantifolia 'Jungle Gold'- This fantastic low-growing shade plant was previously classified as Kaempferia. Recently it was named to ne genus: Cornukaempferia. It has an outstanding patterned leaf with dark maroon markings on a green leaf. Underside of leaves are lightly washed with maroon. And beautiful fiery orange/gold flowers emerge for weeks from the leaf axils. Collected from the jungle in Southeast Asia. Full shade. Like most Kaempferias goes dormant in winter. Probably Zones 9 and higher.
