Strelitzia nicolai White Bird of Paradise - Giant Bird- When you see the graceful dark green leaves, it truly makes you think tropical. The bird (Strelitzia nicolai Bird of Paradise Giant PG-White) dresses up any area, inside or out. Keep it moist but not wet and place in high light. Reaches heights of 10 to 20 feet tall. The plants may be three or four years old before they bloom. When its a couple feet tall and the roots are crowding in the container, you can expect blooming to start.
