x Cupressocyparis leylandii Leyland Cypress -A fast growing evergreen often sold as “live” Christmas trees. Also used for creating a dense screen. Grows to about 30 feet tall in 10 years. Grows symmetrical and assumes a pyramid shape. Hardy to Zone 6. Very drought tolerant, and can grow in almost any type of soil, however avoid soils that are constantly wet. Likes sun but will tolerate shade part of the day. Salt tolerant.
